What is the North Dakota Patriot Guard?

The Patriot Guard is not a motorcycle club, although sometimes mistaken to be. Those who participate include members of motorcycle clubs, riders who are not members of any clubs, and people who don't even ride a motorcycle.

The Patriot Guard members have one thing in common: Unwavering respect for those who risk their lives for America’s freedom and security. Members don’t have to ride a motorcycle, share similar political views, or have military service experience. The only prerequisite is Respect.

Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. We show sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities. When necessary and invited to do so, we shield the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protester or group of protesters. We accomplish the latter through legal and non-violent means.

Other events that we attend in our communities include various military and first responder ceremonies. Such examples of these are send-offs, welcome homes, retirement ceremonies, nursing home/assisted living visits.

Please contact us on here using our form or email a ride captain in your area if you would like our presence at any event.
